The $7 front end is the affiliate link itself, OLSP’s own Community Builders page pays a member $14 on each $7 sale and "another $14" on each sale by their downline, and the company’s Mega Link page tells the buyer, "Your only job is to share the link using free social media."
Can you actually make money with OLSP Academy?
No. The Mega Link page says "Your only job is to share the link using free social media," and the $7 front end it sells is the affiliate link itself, "Your own unique affiliate link that promotes the OLSP Academy," in the homepage’s words. At 100% the company keeps nothing on that sale. Above it sits a two-tier override that OLSP’s Community Builders page pays at 200% on each level: "On a $7 Megalink sale, you earn $14. On your downline’s $7 sale, you earn another $14." When the seller and the member above both hold Community Builders, one $7 sale carries $28 of commission (our arithmetic), and you are paid on a sale you had no part in making.
The memberships are where it decides. Live Profit Builders costs $49 a month or $497 a year and Community Builders $199 a month or $1,997 a year. The Mega Link page lists "Free traffic methods only" and tells the buyer to "share on platforms you already use, spend nothing on ads," so the fee is the cost to cover: Live Profit Builders breaks even at seven $7 Megalink sales a month, every month, and Community Builders at 15 sales at $14 (our arithmetic), and no company page says how many sales a typical member makes. Member counts of 70,000 (an affiliate’s 2022 review) and 145,000 (a figure one reviewer attributes to the founder) describe the pool competing for the same traffic sources, and one reviewer describes a student who followed the course for three months and earned zero commissions.
No income disclosure with figures exists anywhere it was searched: the Mega Link sales page carries only a general earnings disclaimer, beside a single-session $16,000 result it labels not typical, and the terms of service publish no earnings data. Against that sit aggregate figures of $80 million in commissions circulating in third-party promotional material with no stated methodology. The tier pages add only "Results vary," and the Community Builders page offers its own example instead: ten recruited affiliates making five sales each, for "$700/month from your second tier alone."
Give it what it has earned. A real, identifiable UK operator with a decade of unbroken Companies House filings and two named persons with significant control, which most of this category cannot match. A free Launchpad pass sitting below the $7. No physical inventory to over-buy or write off. Memberships the tier pages say can be canceled at any time. Every sales commission nominally tied to an actual purchase somewhere in the chain, with the override stopping at two levels rather than running to unlimited depth, though the company’s own pages also pay $1 per verified live-event attendee, $5 to a referral for each of their first four onboarding sessions, and beginners for completing training steps. And no regulator anywhere has acted.

- An income disclosure. The Mega Link page’s footer carries a general earnings disclaimer with no figures, the tier pages say only "Results vary," and the terms carry none, while aggregate commission figures in the tens of millions circulate with no methodology attached to them.
- Published commission rates for the memberships themselves. The homepage promises "Lifetime Commissions on all OLSP Products" and "2nd Tier Commissions on all OLSP Products," and the Community Builders page says "You can even earn commissions on selling Community Builders to your leads!," but no company page states the rate on a $49 or $199 membership or on the high-ticket offers, whose rates "vary," and the reported $15,000 and $25,000 rungs appear on no official page at all.
- One refund window, and a clause on lapsed memberships. The Live Profit Builders and Community Builders pages promise a 14-day money-back guarantee, the Mega Link page and the Community Builders guarantee section promise 30 days, and the published refund policy gives 30 days "unless stated otherwise" with deductions for any used portion; the terms say only that commissions follow the structure and rates OLSP specifies, so a buyer cannot read what happens to lifetime commissions and attributed leads if a membership lapses.
- A front end that carries margin. A $7 unit paying a 100% commission retains nothing for the company, and at 200% on two Community Builders levels it pays $28 (our arithmetic), so it is funded from other revenue, which holds only while new buyers and new memberships keep arriving.

Legal status
LEGAL - no court has ruled on this program and no allegation has been made against it by any authority. Nothing was found: no FTC case, consent order or Notice of Penalty Offenses naming this operator; no US state Attorney General action; no UK Advertising Standards Authority ruling; no BBB determination (a BBB search interface was reached but no business-specific profile could be retrieved); no ICO enforcement action. That is reported as a finding, not a clearance, since no regulator has reviewed this specific program either way. On the FTC Business Opportunity Rule (16 CFR 437): the rule’s required-payment element carries no dollar floor (the $500-within-six-months figure belongs to the Franchise Rule exemption that 437.8 cross-refers to), so a payment as small as the $7 Mega Link can meet it; the seller-provides-customers element is arguably engaged where leads are supplied (an affiliate’s 2022 review reports 50 to 100-plus supplied leads at the "$99 and up" levels, and OLSP’s 2023 FAQ says the team adds leads to the Facebook group for VIP), though no current tier page promises supplied leads, and it sits more comfortably outside it for the training-framed tiers; and 437.1(m) exempts general business-development advice and training, which plausibly covers the bulk of the ladder. Follow the money
This is a $7 "Mega Link" affiliate-training funnel, run under Wayne Crowe Limited - a real, UK-registered company, incorporated in 2016, years before OLSP itself launched (reported as 2020, with promotion from early 2021), with active, current filings and two named Persons with Significant Control. That is a materially better ownership signal than most of this category, and it should be said first.
The comp plan is a genuine two-tier override, disclosed by OLSP itself rather than alleged by a critic. Its Community Builders page, $199 a month or $1,997 a year, pays 200% on a member’s own $7 Megalink sales and 200% again on sales by the affiliates they bring in: "On a $7 Megalink sale, you earn $14. On your downline’s $7 sale, you earn another $14." Live Profit Builders, $49 a month or $497 a year, pays 100% on Megalink and no second level. It stops at two levels; it is not an unlimited-depth downline, and every sales commission is nominally tied to a real purchase somewhere in the chain, though the same pages also pay $1 per verified live-event attendee and $5 to a referral for each of their first four onboarding sessions.
Then the honest description of the day-to-day work. OLSP’s own Mega Link page states plainly, "Your only job is to share the link using free social media," and says every product behind the link is "already built, priced between $7 and $97, and delivered by us." Live Profit Builders adds AI-written promotional posts, a 30-day traffic challenge and action plans for promoting each live event. Community Builders adds a third-party marketing-automation account the page values at $97 a month, an AI chatbot for the member’s leads and a community site; against the roughly $151 to $160 a month of the named tools in the comparison table it costs about $39 to $48 a month more (our arithmetic), so most of its premium buys the right to earn on a second level rather than better software.
The back end reaches further than the price block discloses. Live Profit Builders unlocks "high-ticket" commissions on offers sold at the Tuesday live sessions and Saturday challenges, at rates the page says "vary." VIP was reported at $6,500 in an affiliate’s 2022 review, and Elite and Elite Plus at $15,000 and $25,000 in one specialist watchdog review of 2024; none of the three appears on OLSP’s current public pages. No income disclosure statement exists anywhere this research searched. The ladder the 2026 tiers replaced, Mega Builders at $99 a month and Team Builders at $199, described in support-portal answers dated October and November 2023, appears on no current company page.
Commission OLSP pays on one $7 Megalink sale at the Community Builders rate
OLSP publishes no revenue-split or unit-economics disclosure. Its Community Builders page states the two figures here: $14 to a Community Builders member on their own $7 sale and "another $14" on a sale by their downline. When both levels hold Community Builders that is $28 of commission on a $7 sale, and everything above the $7 price is paid from revenue other than the sale (our arithmetic). A Live Profit Builders seller is paid 100%, $7, with nothing left on the sale either way.

Who runs it, and what they ran before
A real, identifiable natural person - confirmed via UK Companies House rather than an anonymous or offshore shell, which is genuinely better than most of this category. Third-party biographical reporting (not confirmed by OLSP’s own "about" page, which is aspirational marketing language only) describes a former Royal Marine, management study at a UK further-education college, and an e-commerce business begun around 2008. No FTC, state Attorney General, ASA or court action against him personally was found in this research.
Appointed director alongside Wayne Paul Crowe on incorporation in 2016 and notified as a Person with Significant Control in October 2024, holding shares in the 25–50% band. The company has exactly two PSCs, both directors, with no third-party investor, private-equity holder or corporate parent on file - a closely held, transparent structure relative to most watchlist peers.
Third-party reporting links this operator to a succession of earlier branded traffic and email offers over roughly nine years - "Traffic Domination" (2017), "30 Day Email Journey Hacks," "Traffic Nemesis" and "Profit Vortex" - of which OLSP, from 2020, is the latest and largest iteration. A single specialist watchdog source separately reports that this operator promoted, around 2021, a cryptocurrency-education recruiting program as an affiliate; that program is graded elsewhere on this site and is not named here. Neither observation is a regulatory finding - both are pattern data about an operator with a long history of running and promoting recruiting-style offers, not proof of wrongdoing in either one.

Read this twice
None of this arithmetic comes from an OLSP-disclosed unit-economics figure - it is modeled from the prices and rates the company’s pages state ($49 and $199 a month, 100% on a $7 Megalink sale at Live Profit Builders, $14 at each of two levels at Community Builders), and no traffic cost is added because the Mega Link page lists "Free traffic methods only". The $1 attendee payment and the high-ticket commissions are left out: the first is paid for attendance, not a sale, and the page says the second’s rates "vary." The throughline across the scenarios is the same: a membership pays back only if a fixed number of sales arrives every month, seven at $7 or 15 at $14, and there is no company-published income disclosure anywhere to say how many sales members make. One independent reviewer’s account of a student with "Zero commissions" after following the course for three months is consistent with, not contradicted by, this arithmetic.
