SHIFT AI

Working AI software over named third-party models, sold in credits that also buy a share of weekly revenue pools, whose own disclosure puts the median club member at $38.22 credited in 90 days against at least $499 paid, with payouts on hold.

Reviewed October 7, 2026 Founded 2025 to 2026: domain registered 11 October 2025; members from about late June 2026 (the first Terms took effect 27 June 2026, and a “Why July 4, 2026” page points at a 4 July launch); first real weekly pool distribution for the week of 26 August 2026, while a SHIFT presentation dated September 2026 still said “Currently in pre-launch”. PAYS ON PURCHASES, PITCHED AS A RETURN

SHIFT AI pays members shares of company revenue ranked mainly by how much they have bought, its founder pitched purchases as a way to “buy money”, and its own disclosure shows three in four club members credited $283.44 or less in 90 days after paying at least $499; payouts are on hold after its payment processor closed its account.

The question you came with

Can you actually make money with SHIFT AI?

NO No - not on the numbers this company publishes

No, not on the company’s own numbers. SHIFT’s income disclosure for the 90 days from 25 June to 23 September 2026 counts 2,592 active club members, every one of whom had paid at least the $499 club minimum and held a $99 monthly membership. The median member was credited $38.22. Three in four were credited $283.44 or less. A new Standard Club member’s first 90 days cost $697 ($499, then $99 on day 30 and day 60), so on our arithmetic the median covers 5.5% of it. The average, $1,376.40, is pulled up by a top 1% credited from $22,097.49 and one participant at $397,228.40.

Those are amounts credited, not paid, and nothing is being paid at the moment. The company’s own public help page says payouts are on hold while it moves to a new payment partner, with “no payout date yet”. In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account; the founder read the closure notice on a recorded company update on 26 September, including that funds in the account would be held in reserve for 120 days.

And what drives a member’s share is buying, not selling or using. Commissions are earned on purchases; 25% of revenue goes into weekly club pools in which 70% of a member’s share is ranked on purchase volume; club standing built from cumulative purchases is permanent; and a separate 10% pool rewards the size of a member’s credit balance. To stay eligible at all, a member must buy $99 of credits in every rolling 30 days or forfeit that period’s commissions. The founder pitched it as a way to “buy money”. The company’s own disclosure is the better guide, and it shows most members credited far less than they had paid in.

What it costs to be in
$99 a month for the Membership (CoachPay only); $499 to enter the club pools, then $99 every 30 days

The $99 Membership buys 20,000 credits a month and earns CoachPay only. The revenue pools open at the $499 Standard Club, sold as “$499 today, then $99/mo (begins in 30 days)” with 100,000 credits to start, so a new Standard Club member’s first 90 days cost $697. The Founder’s Club is $1,000 with the first 30 days of membership waived. Larger club packs were sold on the company’s own pages until at least 15 to 21 September 2026 at $3,000, $13,000, $113,000 and $1,113,000; they are now “By Invite Only” with no price shown. Card purchases are limited to $3,000 and anything larger goes by bank wire. To earn from any stream, a member must buy $99 of credits in each rolling 30 days.

What would have to change
  • A published per-action price list for credits. Until the meter is public nobody can say what $99 buys, and the comparison with buying the tools direct, $72.68 a month for one entry plan from each named vendor on our arithmetic, cannot be closed.
  • Payouts restarted, through a named payment partner, with a record of what has actually been paid against what was credited.
  • A disclosure that also counts $99-only members and people who left, and an explanation of why the population changed between 15 and 23 September 2026.
  • Pools that pay on credit usage or on outside customers rather than on cumulative purchases and credit balances. As written, the plan’s own fastest route upward is to buy more.
  • One consistent operating entity. The Terms say a Wyoming LLC; the trademark applications say a Texas LLC; the September presentation says “Headquartered in Texas”.

That call is computed, not chosen - the rule reads three of the nine published dimension scores and is printed on the methodology page. It describes this company's plan and the figures it publishes about the people already in it. It is not a prediction about you, and nothing on this site is advice.

UNREGISTERED PASSIVE-RETURN FEATURES; NO REGULATOR ACTION LOCATED. No regulator action naming SHIFT AI, SHIFT Capital or its founder was located as of 7 October 2026, and no regulator, court or self-regulatory body has acted against the company. The Texas State Securities Board site search and the UK FCA warning list returned nothing on the subject; six regulator sites (SEC enforcement pages, CFTC, Canada CSA, Australia ASIC, New Zealand FMA and Philippines SEC) could not be searched directly and are listed as unverified. None of SHIFT’s tiers is registered as a security, and an EDGAR search shows no filing by SHIFT Capital, LLC or SHIFTai. Its pools pay shares of company revenue by size of cumulative purchase and credit balance, and its founder pitches purchases as a way to “buy money”. Those are the features U.S. regulators examine under the Howey test; that is a structural assessment by this site, not a finding by anyone. The company’s own documents say its credits are “not a security, a yield instrument, or resellable” and forbid members from describing SHIFT as an investment. An F grade is not a finding of illegality.

What this actually is

Follow the money

An AI content suite sold by SHIFT Capital, LLC, trading as SHIFTai, at shiftai.club and suite.shiftai.club. Members buy credits, at “$1 = 200 credits”, to use ten or eleven “studios” (Chat, Image, Video, Voice, Avatar, Translate, Music, Deck, Brand Pack, Prospect and a Concierge) built on models from Anthropic, OpenAI, HeyGen and ElevenLabs, with FLUX and Kling also named on the home page. The same credit purchases fund a rewards plan the company calls EcoPay. The founder and CEO named on the About page is Marty Hale.

What is real goes first. The software exists and names its providers. The company publishes an income disclosure over its whole club population, percentiles included, with plain warnings that the figures “are not profit” and that “A participant may have earned less than they spent.” Its exit terms are real: a 30-day refund of unspent credits with “No reason required”, a closure buyback of 100% within 30 days and 40% after, cancellation in Settings, 90 days to download Vault content and a 30-day arbitration opt-out. Its pay rates are public on its own calculator, “Read live from the engine on page load”, and its Terms forbid income claims and describing SHIFT as an investment. That is more than most programs in this category put in writing.

The plan has several doors. A $99 monthly Membership earns only CoachPay, 20% of each direct connection’s purchase. A $499 Standard Club opens the weekly revenue pools, and higher clubs are set by cumulative purchases from $3,000 (Bronze) to $10,000,000 (Diamond). Until mid-September 2026 the company’s own pages sold packs at $3,000, $13,000, $113,000 and $1,113,000, the larger ones by bank wire. Commissions are earned on purchases, never on usage, and the pools rank members mainly on how much they have bought and how many credits they hold.

The company’s own disclosure for the 90 days to 23 September 2026 puts the median club member at $38.22 credited, after paying at least $499; three in four were credited $283.44 or less. The founder, in recorded presentations, called it “literally impossible” for a club member not to make money and said the leaderboard “gives you the ability to buy money”.

The timeline is short. The domain was registered in October 2025, members joined from about late June 2026, the first real pool distribution was for the week of 26 August, and implied weekly revenue peaked at about $4.89M in the week of 16 September before falling to about $650K to $675K (our arithmetic from the company’s pool data). In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account, and as of 7 October 2026 the company’s help page says payouts are on hold with no payout date.

Where each dollar of a SHIFT credit purchase goes, on the live engine

From the company’s own calculator at suite.shiftai.club/calc, read on 7 October 2026: “Total to the network: 62% of every dollar, against a 70% cap (not binding). Every percentage here is admin-tunable and can change.” ContentPay and CodePay exist but are switched off. The remainder kept by the company is our arithmetic (100% less 62%) and must cover the third-party AI models, the business and any margin; SHIFT publishes no accounts, so how it divides is unknown. On 15 September 2026 the network total was 65%, with CompetePay at 10%.

Marty Hale
Founder and CEO (About page); the only named executive

The About page names him as founder, lists seven prior founder, chief-executive and senior roles at named companies, and says he “has been the helm of 3 Companies that do over $1 Billion per year in revenue.” Apart from a Texas franchise-tax record listing him as an officer of Blue Moon Solutions, Inc., none of the career claims on the About page could be confirmed in public primary records; no company is named for the $1 billion claim. He is the speaker in the recorded presentations quoted in this report. Those recordings were uploaded to YouTube by promoters, not by a channel the company’s site links to, but he introduces himself on them and the words quoted are his.

SHIFT Capital, LLC
Operating entity named in the Terms of Service, trading as SHIFTai

The Terms and the Privacy Policy name SHIFT Capital, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, as the counterparty. The company’s own documents have given three home states in four months: California law in the June 2026 Terms, Wyoming in the current Terms, and Texas in the September presentation. The trademark applicant on four filings of 8 September 2026 is described as a Texas LLC in Lubbock, and no Texas entity of that name appears in Comptroller records. Either the applications misstate the entity’s state or a second entity exists; this report could not establish which. The Wyoming record itself (formation date, organizer, officers) was not retrieved.

Governance note
Controls, accounts and payment processing

No other officer, director or board is named in any company document, and no accounts, audited or otherwise, are published. Every pay rate on the company’s calculator is, in its own words, “admin-tunable and can change”: the network share was 65% on 15 September 2026 and 62% on 7 October, CompetePay moved from 10% to 7%, and the company’s refund policy, its September presentation and its founder give three further figures (“up to 60%”, “up to 50%” and 50%). In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account; the founder read the closure notice on a recorded company update on 26 September. Purchases now go by bank wire, and the public help page says payouts are on hold with no payout date.

Registered address

Not settled by the company’s own documents: a Casper, Wyoming registered-agent address in the Terms; “Headquartered in Texas” in the September presentation; a Lubbock, Texas applicant on the trademark filings
The current Terms name SHIFT Capital, LLC, a Wyoming LLC at 5830 E. 2nd St., Ste. 7000, Casper, a registered-agent suite many unrelated entities use, with AAA arbitration in Natrona County, Wyoming. The first Terms, effective 27 June 2026, put governing law in California with JAMS arbitration in San Francisco. A SHIFT presentation dated September 2026 says “Headquartered in Texas”. Four USPTO applications filed on 8 September 2026 (SHIFT, SHIFTAI and SHIFT AI; intent to use, not yet assigned to an examiner) name “Shift Capital LLC” as a Texas LLC in Lubbock, and no Texas entity of that name appears in Texas Comptroller records. The Wyoming state record could not be retrieved because the state search sits behind a CAPTCHA; OpenCorporates mirrors an active Wyoming LLC, filing 2025-001808191, with its formation date and officers behind a login. No accounts of any kind are published. The storefront at shiftai.club runs on Shopify, and its product feed also lists a $599 “Ambassador Pack” and two nutrition products created in April 2026; the AI memberships are not sold as Shopify products.

Compensation plan

What has to be true for you to get paid

To coverYou need
Cover a new Standard Club member’s first 90 days from earnings $697 credited, and actually paid
$499 on day 0, then $99 on day 30 and day 60 = $697. In the company’s 90-day disclosure the median was credited $38.22, which is 5.5% of $697 (our arithmetic), and the 75th percentile $283.44, so at least three in four counted members were credited less than this. Payouts are on hold.
Recover the $499 club minimum alone $499 credited
The median, $38.22, is 7.7% of $499 (our arithmetic). Three in four were credited $283.44 or less over the 90 days. Every member counted had paid at least $499.
Stay eligible to earn at all $99 of credits bought in every rolling 30 days
Under the Club Member Agreement, commissions on purchases made while the requirement is not met are not credited: “That money is not held for you and is not paid to you later.” The 25th percentile of the 90-day disclosure was credited $19.47, against $99 every 30 days after the first month.
Recover a $3,000 Bronze pack $3,000 credited: a result above the 75th percentile
Over the 90 days the 75th percentile was $283.44 and the 99th $22,097.49, so $3,000 sits somewhere in the top quarter of counted members, and the disclosure does not say how many reached it. Spent credits are not refundable, and the closure buyback after 30 days is 40% of the price paid.

Read this twice

All four use the company’s own 90-day income disclosure (25 June to 23 September 2026, 2,592 active club members) and its published prices. The disclosure reports gross earnings credited, not amounts paid, and does not subtract what a member spent; payouts are on hold with no date, so every “credited” figure above may differ from cash received. Nothing is published for $99-only members or for any period longer than 90 days. These are arithmetic floors, not forecasts: they show what has to happen to cover a cost, not how likely it is.

Modeled on CoachPay only, the one stream that is a plain commission: 20% of each direct connection’s purchase under the live engine rates, so a connected member who buys the $99 monthly plan is worth $19.80 a month to you (our arithmetic). The cost line is $99 a month because the Club Member Agreement requires $99 of credits purchased in every rolling 30 days, or commissions in that period are not credited and are not paid later. ClubPay, CreditPay and CompetePay are left out: they are weekly pools of company revenue split by purchase volume, credit balance and rank, and no honest per-person figure can be built from them. Every amount here is credited, not paid: on 7 October 2026 the company’s help page said payouts were on hold with no payout date. Your own subscription cost of $99/mo is included.

Direct prices on 7 October 2026 from each vendor’s own pricing page, against SHIFT’s $99 Membership. Translate, Music, Deck, Brand Pack and Prospect are not priced here. FLUX and Kling API prices are developer products. None of these vendors is graded on this site.

Price-to-value

Even with both chat plans, buying the named tools direct comes in under $99, and each plan’s allowance stands alone, where a SHIFT member who spends the shared balance on chat has nothing left for images. The fair caveats are real: one login and one balance are convenient, some direct tools need a developer account, and nobody can test SHIFT’s output quality without paying. But the comparison cannot be finished, because the company has not published the meter, and that is the point: a buyer cannot check what $99 buys before paying. The club packs add nothing to this side of the ledger; what they buy beyond credits at list price is pool position.

Methodology note. These are modeled illustrative outcome ranges, not claims, not forecasts for any reader and not a company case study. They count cash paid in against earnings received and give the credits no cash value, so a member who uses the credits as software is better off than the rows show by whatever those credits are worth to them. The only published anchor is the company’s 90-day disclosure for 2,592 active club members (25th percentile $19.47, median $38.22, 75th percentile $283.44, 71 at $0), which covers club members only and reports amounts credited, not paid; nothing is published for $99-only members, for people who left or for any period longer than 90 days. Costs follow the published prices: $99 a month; $499 and then $99 a month from day 30; and a $3,000 Bronze pack modeled with the same $99 a month from day 30. Every later horizon is our arithmetic and modeling. The “p” value is a modeled chance of being net positive on cash at that point; it is not a published figure, and it assumes payouts restart, which as of 7 October 2026 they had not.

The founder’s recorded presentations
PURCHASES PITCHED AS A WAY TO “BUY MONEY”
Recorded presentations uploaded to YouTube by promoters, with the founder speaking. 17 September 2026: “It is literally impossible. It is impossible for anyone to become a club member in Shift AI and not make money.” and “You can literally just buy AI credits, whether you use them or not, and get paid on that.” 18 September: “this leaderboard gives you the ability to buy money ... If you buy $1,000 more of credits, you make $3,000 more in cash.” 19 September: “Every single club member in the entire company gets paid every single day” and “you don’t even have to log in.” The company’s own disclosure counts 71 club members credited $0 over 90 days.
The company’s home page
BITCOIN COMPARISON AND “UNLIMITED INCOME”, SINCE REMOVED
Until at least 21 September 2026: “Unlimited Income Streams”; “In 2010, Bitcoin traded for pennies. That thousand dollars would be worth roughly $77,000,000 today”; “The window opens once. Then it doesn’t.” None of it is on the 7 October home page, which is to the company’s credit; the founder’s recordings remain online.
A SHIFT presentation dated September 2026
MOCK $198 MILLION DASHBOARD
Published by a third party, not by SHIFT. Dashboard artwork shows “TOTAL REVENUE $198,352,987”, against the company’s own trailing 28 days of $7,243,511 on its calculator. It also says “SHIFT hands you up to 50% of the ecosystem’s gross revenue” and illustrates an “ANNUALIZED RATE $423K”. The income slides carry a footnote that “All figures shown are illustrative and do not represent actual or projected earnings.”
The Suite login page
A WEALTH PITCH ON THE SOFTWARE’S FRONT DOOR
The pre-login page of the software itself is headed “The biggest wealth creation event in our lifetime”, and its page description reads “Earn from every recommendation. Tracked, verified, paid.” Payouts were on hold on the day it was read.
Written rules for members
STRONG ON PAPER, CONTRADICTED BY A SECOND DOCUMENT
The Terms forbid “income claims of any kind”, earnings screenshots, and describing SHIFT as “an investment, a security, a passive income source”. The Club Member Agreement instead permits income claims if each is accompanied by the income disclosure. The founder’s recorded claims are of the kind the stricter rule forbids members to make.
Income disclosure
PUBLISHED, FULL-POPULATION, DENOMINATOR CHANGED
A genuine strength: percentiles over all 2,592 active club members including zeros, and plain warnings that the figures are not profit. But it covers club members only, reports amounts credited rather than paid, and the company’s live widget changed from “1,017 active members” with 64.6% at $0 on 15 September to “active club members” with 2.7% at $0 on 23 September, with no explanation in any document found.
Regulators and courts
NONE LOCATED; SIX SITES NOT SEARCHABLE
No regulator action naming SHIFT AI, SHIFT Capital or its founder was located as of 7 October 2026. The Texas State Securities Board and the UK FCA warning list returned nothing on the subject. SEC enforcement pages, the CFTC, Canada’s CSA, Australia’s ASIC, New Zealand’s FMA and the Philippines SEC could not be searched directly, so the record there is a negative web search only.
Independent coverage and reviews
NO ESTABLISHED PRESS; NO CUSTOMER REVIEWS FOUND
No newspaper, wire or trade-press coverage was found. Independent bloggers have criticized the program; their accounts are commentary and nothing in this report rests on them. No Trustpilot profile and no App Store app were found, and search interest in “shiftai” ran 30 to 110 a month.

The Terms: “Commissions are earned on purchases, never on usage.” Every stream that pays is triggered by someone buying credits, and a member’s own purchases build their own standing.
2Pools ranked by how much you have bought
25% of revenue goes into five weekly club pools at 5% each; within them the engine weights a member’s share 70% on purchase volume; club standing runs from $3,000 to $10,000,000 of cumulative purchases and “Standing is cumulative and permanent: volume does not decay, expire, or reset”.
3A pool that rewards holding credits
CreditPay, 10% of revenue to the top 10 members, ranks on credits held and used equally, and the Terms say “A larger credit balance can therefore raise your CreditPay ranking.”
4The founder pitched purchases as a return
“this leaderboard gives you the ability to buy money ... If you buy $1,000 more of credits, you make $3,000 more in cash” (recorded 18 September 2026), and “You can literally just buy AI credits, whether you use them or not, and get paid on that” (17 September).
5“Impossible” not to make money, against 71 members at $0
The founder said it is “impossible for anyone to become a club member in Shift AI and not make money”; the company’s own disclosure counts 71 club members (2.7%) credited $0 over the same 90 days, and a median of $38.22.
6A median of $38.22 after at least $499 paid
Every one of the 2,592 counted club members had paid at least $499; three in four were credited $283.44 or less over 90 days. A new Standard Club member’s first 90 days cost $697.
7Credited, not paid, and payouts are on hold
The disclosure reports “gross earnings credited”. The company’s help page says payouts are on hold while it moves to a new payment partner, with “no payout date yet”.
8Payment processor closed the account
In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account; the founder read the closure notice on a recorded company update on 26 September, including a 120-day reserve on funds held. Bank wire is now the purchase route.
9Implied weekly revenue fell from about $4.89M to about $650K
On the company’s own pool data (our arithmetic), weekly revenue was about $4.89M in the week of 16 September and about $650K and $675K in the two weeks after. The pools that pay members are funded from current revenue.
10The disclosure’s population changed in eight days
On 15 September the live widget read 1,017 “active members”, 64.6% at $0 and a median of $0; by 23 September it read 2,592 “active club members” and 2.7% at $0. $99-only members and leavers are excluded.
11Every rate is admin-tunable
The calculator says “Every percentage here is admin-tunable and can change.” The network share was 65% on 15 September and 62% on 7 October; the refund policy says up to 60% and the founder says 50%.
12Packs to $1,113,000 by wire
The company’s own pages sold club packs at $3,000, $13,000, $113,000 and $1,113,000 until mid-September, the larger ones by bank wire, with extras such as “Elevated CreditPay yield weighting” and “Direct access to the Founder”.
13Three home states in four months
California law in the June Terms, a Wyoming LLC in the current Terms, “Headquartered in Texas” in the September presentation, and a Texas LLC on the trademark applications that does not appear in Texas Comptroller records.
14No price list, no trial
The credit price list is “Publishing soon”; the only per-action price published is a 5-credit prompt polish; there is no free trial, so a buyer cannot check what $99 buys before paying.
15Credits that “do not expire”, unless you bought a big pack
The Terms say credits do not expire; the live enterprise application makes buyers agree that credits unused after six months “will be used by the SHIFT AI Dev Team to create my personal and professional brands.”

Green flags

8
1Working software on named models
Ten or eleven studios for chat, images, video, voice, avatars, translation, music and decks, with the Terms naming Anthropic, OpenAI, HeyGen and ElevenLabs as providers.
2A published income disclosure over everyone in its group
Percentiles over all 2,592 active club members including zeros, “not over earners only”, with plain warnings that the figures are not profit and that “A participant may have earned less than they spent.”
3A 30-day refund of unspent credits
Any unspent credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, “No reason required.”
4A closure buyback
A member who closes the account gets 100% of the price paid within 30 days of purchase and 40% after.
5Easy exit and a fairer arbitration clause
Cancel any time in Settings, 90 days to download Vault content after closure, and a 30-day opt-out from arbitration, which the June 2026 Terms did not offer.
6Rates published live
The company’s own calculator shows every pay rate, club threshold and the network total, read “live from the engine on page load”, along with weekly pool history.
7Written bans on income and investment claims
The Terms forbid income claims, earnings screenshots and describing SHIFT as an investment, a security or a passive income source, and the Plans page says credits are not a security or a yield instrument.
8The worst home-page lines were removed
The Bitcoin comparison, “Unlimited Income Streams” and the published pack prices were gone from the company’s pages by 7 October 2026.
What would move this grade

We would like to be wrong about this

Upward

  • Payouts restarted through a named payment partner, with a published record of amounts actually paid against amounts credited.
  • A published per-action credit price list and a free trial or demo, so a buyer can check what $99 buys before paying.
  • Pools re-based on credit usage or on verified outside customers instead of cumulative purchases and credit balances, with a disclosure that also counts $99-only members and leavers and explains the change of population between 15 and 23 September 2026.

Downward

  • A regulator or court action naming SHIFT, SHIFT Capital or its founder, at whatever stage it is.
  • Payouts not restarting, credited earnings reversed or reduced, or the network share cut further under the company’s admin-tunable rates.
  • Implied weekly revenue staying at or below its late-September level, shrinking the pools every member’s draw depends on, or new club packs sold at higher prices.
The better trade

Grade is F. Working AI software wrapped in a rewards plan that pays shares of revenue by how much members buy, pitched by its founder as a way to “buy money”, with the median club member credited $38.22 in 90 days after paying at least $499, and payouts on hold.

What is good here is real and should be said plainly. The software exists, names its model providers and does what an AI suite does. The company publishes more than most programs in this category: an income disclosure with percentiles over its whole club population and honest warnings, its pay rates live on its own calculator, written bans on income and investment claims, a 30-day refund of unspent credits and a closure buyback. It also took the Bitcoin comparison and the pack prices off its pages.

The trouble is what the plan pays for and what members get. Commissions are earned on purchases, never on usage; the pools are ranked mainly by how much a member has bought and holds, standing from cumulative purchases is permanent, and a member must keep buying $99 of credits every 30 days to earn at all. The founder pitched that as a way to “buy money” and called losing money “impossible”, while the company’s own disclosure puts the median club member at $38.22 credited in 90 days after paying at least $499. Those amounts are credited, not paid, and payouts are on hold after Stripe closed the account.

The company-level picture is thin: one named executive, three home states in four months, no accounts, rates the company can change at will, implied weekly revenue down from about $4.89M to about $650K to $675K in two weeks (our arithmetic), and no price list for the product itself. No regulator action was located, and this report makes no legal finding. The nine numbers land at F without any cap.

1

Buy the tools direct

One entry plan from each named vendor costs $72.68 a month, or $92.68 with Claude Pro (our arithmetic), each with its own allowance, and ChatGPT, HeyGen and ElevenLabs let you try a $0 tier first.

2

If you want SHIFT for the software, wait for the price list

Take only the $99 Membership, and only once the company publishes what each generation costs in credits. Until then you cannot compare it with anything.

3

Do not buy a club pack to earn

Read the company’s own disclosure before anything else: a median of $38.22 credited over 90 days, three in four at $283.44 or less, every one of them having paid at least $499, and payouts on hold.

4

If you are already in, use the windows

Unspent credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, and a closure buyback pays 100% within 30 days and 40% after. Keep a record of what has been credited to you against what has actually been paid.

SHIFT’s own disclosure puts the median club member at $38.22 credited over 90 days, after paying at least $499, while its founder told recruits it is “impossible for anyone to become a club member in Shift AI and not make money.”

Comp structure & KoscotDoes the plan pay for recruitment or for sales to real customers?
20%
1.0
The plan pays on purchases and nothing else, and it pays most to whoever has bought the most. The Terms say it in one line: “Commissions are earned on purchases, never on usage.” The live engine on the company’s own calculator, read on 7 October 2026, sends 62% of every dollar to the network: CoachPay of 20% on each direct connection’s purchase; ClubPay of 25% in weekly club pools, 5% each for the Standard, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum clubs; CreditPay of 10% split among the top 10 members by “a weighted lifetime blend of credits held and credits used”; and CompetePay of 7% to the top 5 by weekly commission earnings. The Terms say the three pools “are weekly pools paid from company revenue, not commissions on any purchase.” Club standing is set by cumulative purchases, from $3,000 for Bronze to $10,000,000 for Diamond, and “Standing is cumulative and permanent: volume does not decay, expire, or reset”; “Using credits does not add to volume or reduce it.” Within the club pools, the engine weights a member’s share 70% on purchase volume. CreditPay rewards holding as well as using: “A larger credit balance can therefore raise your CreditPay ranking.” A member’s own purchases count toward their own standing, so nothing in the structure needs an outside customer, and the founder, recorded on 17 September 2026, said so: “You can literally just buy AI credits, whether you use them or not, and get paid on that.” The single point of credit is that a real product exists and the plain software plan is kept apart from the pools (“A member on the $99 Membership alone earns CoachPay only”), which is why this is a 1 and not a 0.
Securities exposureAny passive return on capital? Howey, staking, tokens, withdrawal friction.
15%
1.0
This line asks one thing: does a participant hand over money against a return produced by other people’s efforts? Here the structure points that way and the founder says so. Club members pay $499 or more, up to the $1,113,000 Platinum pack the company’s own pages sold by wire until mid-September, and in return draw weekly shares of company revenue sized by how much they have bought and how many credits they hold. The founder, in a recorded presentation of 19 September 2026: “Every single club member in the entire company gets paid every single day ... It is impossible for a club member not to get paid with Shift ... You don’t have to recruit nobody ... you don’t even have to log in.” In a recorded presentation of 18 September: “this leaderboard gives you the ability to buy money. I know it sounds crazy, but it does ... If you buy $1,000 more of credits, you make $3,000 more in cash.” The home page, until at least 21 September, carried a Bitcoin comparison: “That thousand dollars would be worth roughly $77,000,000 today.” No tier is registered and EDGAR shows no filing. It is not a 0 for three reasons the documents support: the credits are a consumable software product that does something, unspent credits are refundable within 30 days, and SHIFT does not take deposits or promise a fixed rate. The company’s own pages say credits are “not a security, a yield instrument, or resellable”. Whether any of this is a security is a question for a regulator or a court, and none has acted; this score measures the participant’s exposure, not a legal conclusion.

One person is named: the founder and CEO on the About page. No other officer, director or board appears in any company document, and no accounts are published. The operator’s home state is not settled by its own paperwork. The current Terms name “SHIFT Capital, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company” at a Casper registered-agent address used by many unrelated entities; the June 2026 Terms put governing law in California with JAMS arbitration in San Francisco; a SHIFT presentation dated September 2026 says “Headquartered in Texas”; and four trademark applications filed on 8 September 2026 name the applicant as a Texas LLC in Lubbock, while no Texas entity of that name appears in Comptroller records. The Wyoming state record could not be retrieved; OpenCorporates mirrors an active Wyoming LLC. Apart from a Texas franchise-tax record listing him as an officer of Blue Moon Solutions, Inc., none of the career claims on the About page could be confirmed in public primary records; no company is named for the $1 billion claim. In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account; the founder read the closure notice on a recorded company update on 26 September. It is not lower because no regulator, court or self-regulatory action against SHIFT was located.
Product reality & demandWould a rational buyer purchase this if no income offer existed?
12%
2.0
The software is real and goes first. The company lists ten or eleven “studios” (Chat, Image, Video, Voice, Avatar, Translate, Music, Deck, Brand Pack, Prospect and a Concierge front door) built on other companies’ models; the Terms name “Anthropic, OpenAI, HeyGen, and ElevenLabs” and the home page adds FLUX and Kling. Reselling an interface over third-party models is an ordinary software pattern, and it earns the points this line has. What holds it at 2 is that nobody outside the plan can check what the product is worth or show that anyone buys it for its own sake. No model versions are named. There is no per-action price list: the Plans page says “Publishing soon / A credit price list, straight from the meter”, and the only per-action price on any company page is a prompt-polish button at 5 credits. There is no free trial or public demo, and the site’s FAQ, Platform and “Why July 4, 2026” pages read “Not written yet”. No independent customer reviews were found as of 7 October 2026 (no Trustpilot profile, no App Store app), search interest in “shiftai” ran 30 to 110 a month, and the only customer counts the company publishes are member counts. On the founder’s own two figures from a recorded company update of 26 September, “Total revenue is 6.6 million” and “over 16 million credits” used, our arithmetic at the company’s $1 = 200 credits puts credits sold at about 1.32 billion and credits used at about 1.2% of them.
Participant economicsReal cost in, realistic money out, and whether they publish the numbers.

The disclosure deserves credit and gets it first. SHIFT publishes an income statement covering its whole club population, 2,592 active club members over the trailing 90 days from 25 June to 23 September 2026, with percentiles computed “over the full population, not over earners only”, and plain warnings: the figures “are not profit” and “A participant may have earned less than they spent.” Most programs in this category publish less. Then the numbers. Every member counted had paid at least the $499 club minimum and held an active $99 membership. The 25th percentile was credited $19.47, the median $38.22 and the 75th percentile $283.44; the mean was $1,376.40, lifted by a 99th percentile of $22,097.49 and a single participant at $397,228.40; 71 members (2.7%) were at $0. Our arithmetic: three in four were credited $283.44 or less, a new Standard Club member’s first 90 days cost $697, and the median is 7.7% of the $499 minimum. The figures are “gross earnings credited”, not amounts paid, and payouts are now on hold. The population leaves out $99-only members, anyone who left or was suspended, and refunded transactions. And the denominator changed: on 15 September the company’s live calculator widget read “Of 1,017 active members over the last 90 days: 64.6% earned $0. The median earned $0”; by 23 September the population label was “active club members” and the $0 share 2.7%. That change of label is the company’s own, and no company document explains it.
Price-to-valueWhat the same capability costs on the open market.
8%
2.0
SHIFT sells credits at list price: “$1 = 200 credits”, so the $99 month is 20,000 credits, $499 is 100,000 and $1,000 is 200,000, with no volume discount. The higher club packs bought credits at the same rate; what they bought beyond credits was pool position and, until removed from the company’s pages, extras such as “Elevated CreditPay yield weighting”, a “Private jet itinerary · 2x annually” and “Direct access to the Founder”. What a credit buys is unpublished: the price list is “Publishing soon”, and there is no trial, while ChatGPT, HeyGen and ElevenLabs each publish a $0 tier. A buyer cannot check what $99 buys before paying. Bought direct on 7 October 2026, one entry plan from each named vendor (ChatGPT Plus at $20, ElevenLabs Starter at $6, HeyGen Creator at $29, Kling Standard at $8.80 after a $6.99 first month, and 185 FLUX images at $0.048 each, $8.88) costs $72.68 a month, or $92.68 with Claude Pro added, on our arithmetic, and each plan carries its own allowance, against one shared 20,000-credit balance for $99. It is a 2 rather than lower because one login and one balance have some convenience value and output quality could not be tested without paying; it is not higher because a club fee buys pool position, not capability.
Payout sustainabilityCan the company fund the plan out of margin, or only out of inflow?
8%
1.0
The live engine pays out 62% of every dollar, “against a 70% cap (not binding). Every percentage here is admin-tunable and can change.” On 15 September the total was 65%; the refund policy says the company “distributes up to 60% of every credit sale”; the founder says 50%. The pools are funded from current revenue, so what members draw each week depends on what new purchases come in that week. The company’s own pool data lets a reader reconstruct weekly revenue, because the Standard pool is 5% of the week’s revenue. Our arithmetic: about $1.06M in the week of 9 September, about $4.89M in the week of 16 September, then about $650K and about $675K in the two weeks after; the company states trailing 28 days of $7,243,511. The first real distribution was for the week of 26 August 2026, and earlier weeks are labeled “backtest”. In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account; the founder read the closure notice on a recorded company update on 26 September, including that “all funds in your account will be held in reserve for 120 days to cover potential refunds and disputes.” The June 2026 Terms said commissions were paid weekly through Stripe Connect Express. The company’s public help page now says: “Payouts are on hold while we move to our new payment partner. Your earnings are recorded and safe; there is no payout date yet, and we will email you when payouts restart.” It is not a 0 because the company states that credited earnings are recorded and says it will email members when payouts restart; whether any has been paid since late September is unverified.
Marketing conductIncome claims, regulator run-ins, hype, deadline stacking.

The founder’s recorded words carry this line. On 17 September 2026: “It is literally impossible. It is impossible for anyone to become a club member in Shift AI and not make money.” On 18 September: “this leaderboard gives you the ability to buy money ... If you buy $1,000 more of credits, you make $3,000 more in cash.” On 19 September: “We pay 50% of our gross revenues to the entire ecosystem” and “It is impossible for a club member not to get paid with Shift.” The company’s home page, until at least 21 September, carried “Unlimited Income Streams”, a Bitcoin comparison ending “That thousand dollars would be worth roughly $77,000,000 today”, and “The window opens once. Then it doesn’t.” A SHIFT presentation dated September 2026 opens on a mock dashboard showing “TOTAL REVENUE $198,352,987”, against the company’s own trailing 28 days of $7,243,511; its income slides carry a footnote that the figures are illustrative. The Suite’s login page is headed “The biggest wealth creation event in our lifetime”. Each of these is a kind of claim the company’s own Terms forbid members to make: no “income claims of any kind”, and no describing SHIFT as “an investment, a security, a passive income source”. And the company’s own disclosure counts 71 club members credited $0 in the period. It is 0.5 and not 0 because an income disclosure and written prohibitions exist, and the worst home-page lines were gone by 7 October.
Operator terms & exitWho owns the customer, what you forfeit, how hard it is to leave.
5%
4.0
Several exit terms are better than the category norm, and they come first. Unspent credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, “No reason required.” A member who closes the account gets a buyback of 100% of the price within 30 days of purchase and 40% after. Membership can be canceled any time in Settings, Vault content can be downloaded for 90 days after an account closes, and the arbitration clause carries a 30-day opt-out. Against them: the activity rule forfeits commissions outright in any rolling 30 days without a $99 credit purchase (“That money is not held for you and is not paid to you later”), where the June 2026 Terms promised “no required minimum purchase to participate”; a member in an unsupported country “won’t be able to withdraw earnings”; governing law moved from California, with JAMS arbitration in San Francisco, to Wyoming, with AAA arbitration in Natrona County, within three months; the live enterprise application makes buyers agree that credits unused after six months “will be used by the SHIFT AI Dev Team to create my personal and professional brands”, while the Terms say credits “do not expire”; and the Club Member Agreement permits income claims accompanied by the income disclosure while the Terms forbid “income claims of any kind”. The two pairs of documents conflict, and a member cannot tell which governs.

Hard caps that bind here

Cap at D (non-binding) the rule is “never above D if a passive-return component exists without securities registration”, and it applies: the club pools pay weekly shares of company revenue by size of cumulative purchase and credit balance, the founder told recruits that club members are paid “every single day” and “don’t even have to log in”, and no tier is registered. It does not bind. The nine dimension scores compute to 1.565, published as 1.57, which lands in the F band on its own arithmetic; the nine numbers earned the F without any ceiling. The cap rests on the company’s own documents and the founder’s recorded words, not on any regulator or court action, because none was located.
Cap at C- (non-binding) the rule is “never above C- without verified retail sales to non-participants”, and it applies: no independent customer reviews were found, the company’s only published counts are member counts, its income disclosure covers club members only, and on the founder’s own figures about 1.2% of credits sold had been used (our arithmetic). It does not bind either, because the composite already sits far below it. Absence of reviews is weak evidence for a product about three months old, so this report says “no independent customer reviews found”, not “no customers”.

The lowest binding cap wins, regardless of the weighted arithmetic.

Unable to verify

What we could not get

  • The Wyoming state record for SHIFT Capital, LLC (formation date, organizer, officers): the state search sits behind a CAPTCHA, OpenCorporates mirrors an active LLC without those details, and the trademark filings describe a Texas LLC that does not appear in Texas Comptroller records.
  • Any per-action credit price beyond the 5-credit prompt polish. The company says its price list is “Publishing soon”, so what a chat turn, image, voice minute or video second costs in credits is not public.
  • Whether any earnings credited since late September 2026 have been paid, and when payouts restart. The company’s help page says payouts are on hold with no payout date.
  • Why the disclosure population changed from “active members” (1,017, 64.6% at $0, 15 September) to “active club members” (2,592, 2.7% at $0, 23 September). The change is the company’s; no document explains it.
  • The number of $99-only members and of members who left, and what they earned. The disclosure excludes both.
  • Regulator lists that could not be searched directly on 7 October 2026: SEC enforcement pages, CFTC, Canada CSA, Australia ASIC, New Zealand FMA and Philippines SEC. For these the record is a negative web search only.
  • Which model versions sit behind each studio, and whether FLUX and Kling are still used: they are named on the home page but not in the Terms’ list of providers.
  • The founder’s statement, on a recorded presentation of 30 September 2026, that Stripe closed “220 accounts in one day ... due to an SEC ruling”. The founder said it; no source supports it.

Common questions

SHIFT AI - frequently asked

QIs SHIFT AI legit, or a pyramid scheme?
We do not make legal findings. The facts: the software is real and names its model providers, and no regulator action naming SHIFT AI, SHIFT Capital or its founder was located as of 7 October 2026. The plan pays only on credit purchases, its revenue pools rank members mainly by how much they have bought and how many credits they hold, and its founder, in recorded presentations, pitched purchases as a way to “buy money”. Those are features U.S. regulators examine under the Howey test; saying so is a structural assessment, not a finding.
QHow much do SHIFT AI club members make?
The company’s own disclosure for the 90 days to 23 September 2026 counts 2,592 active club members, each of whom had paid at least $499. The median was credited $38.22, three in four were credited $283.44 or less, and 71 were at $0. Those are amounts credited, not paid, and the disclosure leaves out $99-only members and people who left.
QAre SHIFT AI payouts on hold?
Yes. As of 7 October 2026 the company’s public help page says: “Payouts are on hold while we move to our new payment partner. Your earnings are recorded and safe; there is no payout date yet, and we will email you when payouts restart.” In late September 2026 Stripe closed SHIFT’s account; the founder read the closure notice on a recorded company update on 26 September.
QWhat does SHIFT AI cost?
The Membership is $99 a month for 20,000 credits and earns CoachPay only. The club pools open at $499, then $99 every 30 days, so a new member’s first 90 days cost $697. The Founder’s Club is $1,000. Larger packs were sold at $3,000, $13,000, $113,000 and $1,113,000 until mid-September. To earn at all, a member must buy $99 of credits in every rolling 30 days. No per-action price list is published.
QCan I get a refund from SHIFT AI?
Unspent credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase with no reason required, and a member who closes the account gets a buyback of 100% of the price within 30 days of purchase and 40% after. Spent credits and the current month of membership are not refundable. Membership can be canceled any time in Settings, and Vault content can be downloaded for 90 days after closure.

Before publication it was reviewed by Rob Fore, who checks every source link, every figure against the document it came from, and every allegation against its stage-label - an investigation is not a finding, a warning letter is not an enforcement action, and a filed claim is not a verdict.

The editor does not set the grade. The published score is the weighted composite of the nine dimension scores, and the build refuses to emit a page where the two disagree by more than 0.06. A grade moves when the evidence moves it and not otherwise.

Rob Fore has marketed online since 1996, wrote Online MLM Marketing (2014), and is CEO of Listech Inc, the Nevada corporation that publishes this site. He holds affiliate positions in companies graded here - including LiveGood, which this site grades D, SendOutCards, which it grades C−, and the Home Business Academy, which it grades B−. Those positions are disclosed on the reports they touch, and changed nothing on this page.

Tell me if this grade changes

SHIFT AI is graded F as of October 7, 2026. Grades move when the evidence moves - a new income disclosure, a regulatory action, a rewritten compensation plan. Leave your address and you will get one email if this one does.

One email when the grade moves, and nothing else. We will never use your address to promote an income opportunity of any kind, we do not sell, rent or share the list, and it is stored on our own infrastructure rather than with any company graded here. Unsubscribe removes everything.

Corrections

Every factual claim on this page is sourced, and the ones we could not stand up are named in the unable to verify list above. If something here is wrong, we want to know, and we would rather hear it from SHIFT AI than from a reader.

Write to corrections@opportunitygrade.com. Point at the specific sentence and send the document that contradicts it - a plan document, a filing, an income disclosure, a policy page. We will check it against the primary source, correct the page if it is wrong, and keep a dated record of the change. A grade moves if the evidence moves it.

This address reaches a person, not a form. We do not require a takedown demand, an NDA or a lawyer to accept a correction, and we do not remove a report because a company disputes its conclusion - only because the underlying facts turn out to be wrong.
